We cut an extra-thick steak of our Applewood Smoked Bacon to generously season with house-made mole spice rub and mole glaze, rich with ancho powder, guajillo chiles, cocoa powder, and more.

Serve alongside our Mushroom Risotto Kit or add to your breakfast collection.. Check out easy heating instructions below. We recommend heating Bacon Steaks whole and then slicing at a sharp angle to serve.

Store in the freezer and thaw before searing. Best when consumed within seven days after thawing. 

Ingredients: Applewood Bacon Slab, chipotle pepper, ancho powder, guajillo chile, tomato puree, brown sugar, shallot, carrot, celery, garlic, cumin, thyme, tahini, cocoa powder, bitter sweet cocoa nibs, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, clove, bay leave, kosher salt, onion powder, granulated garlic, cumin, cayenne.

Heating instructions: Slow smoked over fruit wood, these seasoned Bacon Steaks are easy to serve hot. Let come to room temp, wrap loosely in tin foil and bake at 350F. Test the internal temperature after about 10 minutes. Exact timing depends on how cold the bacon steak is when it goes into the oven.
