We made a strawberry-rhubarb preserve to blend with foraged herbs including Black Locust flowers (that lend a vanilla-honey sweetness) and sweet cicely root (a perennial with an anise flavor) -- all foraged locally by Eli Creek Farms.

Serve this sweet preserves on cheese and charcuterie boards with Nettle Cheese by Tulip Tree Creamery and our Rust Belt Saucisson. Top French toast and Belgian waffles or use as a finishing glaze over our Hot Smoked Salmon. Ingredients: cane sugar, rhubarb, strawberries, sweet cicely root, black locust flowers, lemon juice, rose petals, rose water, apple powder, pineapple juice, raspberry vinegar.
