For our version of this holiday classic, we slow stewed figs, local apples, currants, chopped Marcona almonds our Salame Cotto rich with red wine and fenugreek seeds, and more.

Stuff pastry for happy hour or dessert. Blend into stewed apples as a side dish or pie filling. Warm gently to serve as a festive cheese + charcuterie board accompaniment (especially with sharp aged cows' milk cheeses and rich blue cheeses). Serve hot on top of Smoked Pork Chops or carved slices of our Applewood Smoked City Ham.
