We tossed Jowl Bacon cubes with our house-made glaze--blending smoked Guajillo peppers with cherry syrup, Amaretto, molasses, red wine vinegar, and more--before double smoking 'em over cherry tree wood and oak.
Fully cooked, these burnt ends are ready to simply to heat and serve hot. These make for a great appetizer alongside a selection of our hot smoked sausages and gourmet mustards.
We recommend serving these fully-cooked Burnt Ends warm. Empty the package into an oven-safe dish and heat in a 350F oven--stirring occasionally--for about 10 minutes or until warmed through. (Exact heating time depends on how cold they are going into the oven.)
Each package approximately 12 oz. Keep refrigerated, or freeze for longer storage.
