In 1928, the two Chiaverini brothers started making jams & preserves with the fruits they collected from local growers just outside the walls of Florence. Distributing their jars to local shops from the back of their bikes, it wasn't long before local pastry shops and chefs began requesting their preserves in bulk.
Made simply with fruit + sugar (only adding fruit pectin to some varieties depending on the harvest), the brothers' simply delicious production continues still today, a century later.
