Grown by the Aztecs and popular in the 1980s, a local farmer grew these cucamelons for us to pickle under anise, fennel, thyme, and more.
Resembling miniature watermelons, cucuamelons are kinda like a cross between a cucumber and tart melon.
Toss in salads. Top tacos. Serve on charcuterie and cheese boards paired with our Dodge City Salame and Duck Prosciutto.
